The author saw first light in O'Brien Township, Temiskaming District, upriver from what duly became Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada. John bumbled into advertising at Spitzer & Mills, Tandy, Young & Rubicam [Y & R], Ogilvy & Mather [Chair & CEO], John Straiton & Partners [President]. He is a tolerable painter and sculptor, a ventriloquist, a film-maker - over 65 International Awards [he claims nearly 100, but his wife Helen says that sounds immodest].
